Karen Weldler, MA, Student Intern: CBT

Karen Weldler, MA, earned a Master's in Clinical Psychology at Teachers College Columbia University, and is currently completing her second year in Rutgers University's School Psychology Psy.D program. 


Karen has previously worked in both school and clinical settings and has been trained to work with individuals with histories of trauma, suicidal ideation, and self-harm using cognitive-behavioral approaches. Currently, Karen is focused on the inter-relationship between physical and mental health in the aftermath of trauma. 


She is passionate about creating a strong therapeutic relationship and empowering clients to integrate their experiences in a manner that allows them to accept themselves as they are and feel capable of pursuing their best lives alongside the challenges they experience. Karen receives supervision from Jeremy Lichtman, PsyD.


Karen sees clients in person in Highland Park, NJ.
